I’ve never really been good at selling myself so writing an “About” page isn’t something I enjoy doing.

I have been blogging since the mid 90’s, before one-click-deploy blogging platforms even existed. After moving from domain to domain, site to site, I ended up here at Scopique.com.

Since the early days I’ve been writing about video games. I used to only write about video games, in fact, but the longer I stayed in the appliccation development field, the more I felt compelled to write about that as well. Over time, as technology advanced and, in many cases, became more accessible and less expensive, I learned 3D modeling and visual effects production even though I had no real outlet to use either. On occasion my posts get personal, but I stay well away from controversial topics as I’m not a fan of stirring the pot here. I use this site as much as a repository of a point in time as I do to entertain or occasionally inform.
